A lovely hotel with fine views from our superior room. Breakfast lacked variety and some dinner options were bland.

The food was good; their wines inexpensive. Staff were very efficient and their English was poor.
The gym's walking machine wasnt working and there were no written instructions on the bike or ergo which made them difficult to use effectively. The pool was extremely cold a simple solar panel system would improve this.

Here's my point of view
A fine location with lovely views from the superior room, complemented by a wonderful restaurant that previously earned Michelin recognition. The staff are attentive. The comfortable room offers a lovely terrace overlooking the beach, despite some outdated furnishings. A nice stay overall, rich in charm!

Set adjacent to La Ojerada. We booked it before and do recommend it to everyone.

It was clean, the staff was patient and very friendly, plus the service was incredible. Guest room with a wonderful view was the best. The hotel's location was reasonable, just off Cantabria, local bars and restaurants and the main restaurant.

Nice hotel. Excellent location for great local beaches. Eclectically designed. Could do with a revamp for the cost. But overall a good experience. free wifi
pretty much 70s design .. but not that retro-cool

Beautiful location, views of mountains and beach / sea from balcony.Room comfortable. Food good quality. Plenty of free parking.
Very very quiet in November, few people about, not all facilities open, No Wi Fi (advertised free) available throughtout our stay - we were relying on this for entertainment / TV as there was nothing else. Football on TV - loud - in bars most nights - boring for me but not my husband. TV channels - only English speaking one available - news 24.

amazing, amazing, amazing
I was enamored by the amazing views from my Double Room with Sea View, which perfectly showcased the fine landscape. The outdoor swimming pool area was an absolute gem, offering a serene spot to relax while enjoying the ocean backdrop. The kids loved the easy access to children's activities, great to unwind while they had a blast!
100% recommend ❤️🌟

The place has beautiful views and lush gardens, but the dinner options were pretty bland and repeated every night. Breakfast could've had more variety too, mate. All in all, a good stay!

Friendly staff and owner! (makes a nice change) Great facilities in house and close by. Although most guests are Spanish, was made to feel welcome which is nice. Not a busy place (even in august) like Marbs or Majorca but beautiful beaches, views and area. Would recommend for a nice relaxing holiday without hustle and bustle you get in most resorts. Remember to ask for the boat pass to the best beach across the river! A great sneaky get away and only 14hrs drive from uk including channel tunnel time If driving make sure you fill up just before you leave uk and get next fuel in spain if poss as france is still a rip off for fuel yes approx. 20% more than the uk! Spain is on par with us

Olimpo was a treat! The views from our room were amazing, especially over the pool. Breakfast had a solid variety, though some items ran out quickly. The pool area was perfect for the kids, but the nearby beach access was a bit tricky with the steep steps.

location: the hotel was close enough to spain, restaurant and bar and a stunning sandy beach, which never gets overcrowded. what's more, it was 5 mins drive from playa de la cava.
